My Entrepreneur Diary. Victoria E Strange
Hello!
So, if you are reading this, you have found my podcast, so a huge thank you for being here!
I am Victoria!
A little about me...
I have been in the business world for around 20 years, I left school at 18 with the firm aim of signing a record deal, I got close, but not far enough, I performed all over the UK as a soul singer and lived for a while in Australia and Greece, where one day I boarded a bus only to end up in the sea… This is a whole other story.
At 22, my life took a dramatic turn as I found myself in a very abusive relationship enduring many years of domestic abuse, by 24 I became a single Mum to my amazing son Harry who is now 19, and my greatest inspiration.
Why am I telling you this? Well, every situation, whether good or challenging has shaped me into the person I am today, I believe in living life without regrets, and every step has brought me here.
15 years ago, I launched my 1st business.
Covid hit and I pivoted my business, looking back, it was the best decision I could have made.
Fast forward to 2024 and so far, this year I have launched a subscription Box for Female Entrepreneurs - “The Female Entrepreneur Box” a subscription box that will enable me to support female entrepreneurs in business with online training, goal planning sessions, Yoga and nutritionist sessions and so much more, keeping you super organised, accountable, and supported in your industry.
I have also launched “Victoria E Strange Strategy”

Hello everyone. It's Victoria here and welcome back to another episode of my Entrepreneur Diary. So this is Monday and we are kicking off this week with another ep and we are going to focus on today quarter four. What is quarter four? Now, you're not going to believe this.
Speaker 1:I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous what I'm going to say next, but about six or seven years ago, I actually didn't realise what quarter four was, and I used to see it written on socials. You know, how am I going to plan my quarter four? And I was thinking what the hell is quarter four? What is it? And, of course, I went to good old trusty google and I actually wrote it in. Now you might be listening to this, thinking is she actually serious? Did she not know that? No, I didn't know it. But also, you know, I might have some people listening to this who are like uh yeah, I didn't, I didn. I don't know what that is. And if you don't know what it is, it literally is four quarters of the year into three months, and the last three months of the year is obviously October, november and December. That is your quarter four. Now, yes, I did go to Google and I typed in what is quarter four in business and of course it come up. That is, yeah, the three months of the year, and I do that a lot. I've got to be honest. I do it a lot because I hear a lot of noise on socials talking about all these different terms, socials talking about all these different terms, and I don't know them all and you know, I think that a lot of people are quite dubious, I will say, about putting out there actually I don't know what that means. And I would just like to say it's okay if you don't know what it means, it's okay, because I felt a little bit silly at the time and you know, even now I'll be like what on earth are they on about? I don't know what that means. And then you'll see the thread of comments and everyone knows what this person's talking about and I'm like, yeah, no, I'm the wiser, I just don't know. So, yeah, so we're going to be talking about quarter four and we are going to be talking about how do you plan Now?
Speaker 1:I plan all the way throughout the year. You know how I love banging on about about a plan and if I don't have a plan, I I tend to not not really succeed in what I'm trying to do. You know I have to. I have to be honest. You know, if I, if I've, if I'm kind of free-falling, um, I, I, I don't succeed, whereas if I do have a plan, which of course I do, um, and I go back to my strategy. I have a marketing strategy, I have a sales strategy, um, I have a business strategy, because they're all different. I refer back and I would also like to point out those strategies change all the time and the reason they change is because my business changes and I change. So therefore, it's great that I can go back and I can tweak it and go. You know what that's going to work better.
Speaker 1:So therefore, yes, I do plan all the way throughout the year and I don't know everything that I'm going to be doing in quarter four, but in the next couple of weeks I'm going to look at that, and one of the things that I am going to look at is I'm going to look at quarter one and I'm going to look at all the goals that I put down and then I'm going to look to see, in the next couple of weeks, what I've achieved and what I haven't. Now, of course, I think you all you kind of know, don't you, what you've achieved and what you haven't. And I know that, yes, there are certain things I have achieved this year, and I'm really proud of myself for that, but also there are certain things that I haven't. So, therefore, I need to look at that, find out why I haven't achieved. There's one massive, massive, big, big, big goal that I have not achieved and I need to look at that, which I'm looking at all the time, to be fair, and I need to figure out why I have not achieved that, and that is something that I, to be fair, I'm continuously doing. But we'll look at even more to actually put a plan in place and a better plan than probably what I have now. So that is one of the things that I'm going to be looking at in quarter four, and also, I will be looking at all of my stats. Now I look at stats every week, but I will then be comparing them from quarter four to quarter one, so, and I will be looking, well, the end of quarter three really to quarter one and what I need to achieve in quarter four, and it's just a great way of planning and I love that.
Speaker 1:You know when I plan things, I don't do them month by month. I don't do them month by month. I don't do them quarter by quarter. If anything, I probably do them week to two weekly, but you can break those quarters down so you know exactly what you are doing through that quarter. And if I have learned anything this year, it is that if you have a strategy more than one strategy, because obviously you need a marketing, as I said, and a sales and a business strategy you will achieve. And then you'll get to a certain point and you'll think, right, ok, well, now I need to go further with it, because there's absolutely no point in being in business if, if I can't get further with it and then you go from there.
Speaker 1:So that is what I am going to be doing in quarter four, which I'm really, really excited about, and then, at the probably a month towards the end of quarter four, I will be planning quarter one in 2025, and I'm thinking about that now what I can bring into the subscription box and different elements that I can add next year. Strategy wise for me is going to be massive. That's all I'm going to say. It is is gonna be huge and I am so excited for that. Um, I have so many, so so many golden nuggets in my back pocket that I am gonna bring out next year in January that I am just so excited.
Speaker 1:So of course I'll end this podcast by saying I know that you are all over the world listening to this, so of course my box isn't available all over the world yet, but I can work on your strategy with you. So if you are looking to change up your, get a strategy and actually put a strategy in place or anything to do with that, message me and we can have a chat. So I will look forward to speaking to you guys next Monday and have a fantastic week. I am sending you great vibes through this podcast, sending you great vibes through this podcast, and I hope those really happy good luck vibes get to you and I will speak to you very soon. Take care.
