My Entrepreneur Diary. Victoria E Strange
Hello!
So, if you are reading this, you have found my podcast, so a huge thank you for being here!
I am Victoria!
A little about me...
I have been in the business world for around 20 years, I left school at 18 with the firm aim of signing a record deal, I got close, but not far enough, I performed all over the UK as a soul singer and lived for a while in Australia and Greece, where one day I boarded a bus only to end up in the sea… This is a whole other story.
At 22, my life took a dramatic turn as I found myself in a very abusive relationship enduring many years of domestic abuse, by 24 I became a single Mum to my amazing son Harry who is now 19, and my greatest inspiration.
Why am I telling you this? Well, every situation, whether good or challenging has shaped me into the person I am today, I believe in living life without regrets, and every step has brought me here.
15 years ago, I launched my 1st business.
Covid hit and I pivoted my business, looking back, it was the best decision I could have made.
Fast forward to 2024 and so far, this year I have launched a subscription Box for Female Entrepreneurs - “The Female Entrepreneur Box” a subscription box that will enable me to support female entrepreneurs in business with online training, goal planning sessions, Yoga and nutritionist sessions and so much more, keeping you super organised, accountable, and supported in your industry.
I have also launched “Victoria E Strange Strategy”
This allows you to work with me on your business one-on-one. You can find out about this here -
My podcast is a running weekly diary focusing on the steps I have taken to become successful, the highs, the lows, and the hurdles I have jumped.
If you have listened to and enjoyed my podcast, I would so appreciate a review as it does help.
Thank you so much!
Victoria

Hey everyone, it's Victoria and welcome back to another episode of my Entrepreneur Diary. So this is the first episode of 2025 and I honestly do not know how to say this, but my life has absolutely flipped on its head. My business has flipped on its head, my life, everything that I know. I lost my dad. Now, my dad to me was my hero. He was only 66 years old and he had a heart attack and eight days later, on the eighth day on my birthday, he went for a sleep. We thought he was getting better. There was nothing in me that I thought that he would die, but he went for a sleep and he never woke up. Now, a lot of you have heard me speak about my dad and he was my absolute hero. He was my dad. He was my support, my mum's my support as well, but my dad was. He was my business mentor and regards anything in business, I would go to him. He was an extremely successful entrepreneur. He had done so amazing in his business and he's now not here and I don't know how to quite deal with that. But the thing is, this is how it is.
Speaker 1:I was supposed to go into a pre-re-launch of the female entrepreneur box and the reason why I was doing a pre-re-launch was because when I launched last year, there were so many adversities against me. I'd had the Facebook and social media, instagram, it had all been hacked and it put me in a position where I was fully into my launch but I was unable to get into my socials, and so, therefore, I set another launch date on April 1st. I don't know why I did it on April 1st, but anyway I did. And again, I actually still couldn't get into my socials. And I remember saying to my dad well, you know what do I do, and I just thought, you know what, I'm going to go for it. And by the end of the year, you know I'd done well and I was happy with my progress, definitely.
Speaker 1:But I just felt that this year, back in January, my dad died on the 31st of January, which was my birthday, and I just felt, you know, at the start of January, that, yeah, this is what I wanted to do. I'd work so hard, like you do, when you're putting together a launch, there's so much that goes into it. And on the 3rd of February, you know, I was ready to go, but, of course, being the 3rd of February, a few days after my, my dad had passed away. There was absolutely no way I could have gone into a pre-relaunch. There is just no way. So now I have got to rejig the date. Truthfully, I'm thinking mid-March, but at the moment, as it stands, the 19th of February, we still haven't had my, my dad's, funeral.
Speaker 1:So thinking about going back to my business at the moment, before that day, is tough. I'm finding it very, very hard to think about that. That being said, I feel that there is this force behind me. I always felt that there was a force behind me when my dad was here, and my mum as well, because she is so supportive. But I guess, because my dad was an entrepreneur, he got it. You know, he, he, he was a success as well. So, you know, not everything I agreed with him on absolutely not, but I guess the majority. You know I definitely did so.
Speaker 1:This is going to be a really short ep because I just wanted to check in, let you know what's happened and how I'm doing, and you know how I'm moving forward with my business. I think when things happen like this, or you have an upheaval in your life and you are an entrepreneur and you work for yourself. It can be very, very, very difficult to get that balance, and the balance is now something that I've got to work towards, but, as I said, I can feel this force behind me from my dad saying to me come on, come on, victoria, you've got this. You are bloody good at what you do. Now get out there, get your business out there and carry on, and that is what I'm gonna do. I'm just gonna take a little time. So thank you so much for listening to this very short ep probably the shortest I've ever done and I'll be back very soon and I will really look forward to telling you all exactly what I've got coming up. Take care everyone.
